RS2 Lags Behind from front ...I know this because of my own experience. I have just recently tried the beta, and it took me 15 whole minutes to walk from lumbrige to varrock. I couldn't try runecrafting, I couldn’t move for elapsed periods of time, I couldn’t even speak to my friends because of me getting my connection cut short every single time it happened. My computer isn’t alien ware-quality, but it almost never lags on 'original' runescape. I could only even see the rest of the world by screenshots, it was almost painful to walk from place to place, but after a half an hour of trying to get to falador, I gave up. I just pray it isn't like this after the 'switchover'' Perhaps the real causes of this lag are the people downloading it, which takes long as of itself. Sadly, only time will tell that. I knew there had to be some price to pay for all the new graphics, and I guess this is it, but it is a biggie. We can only hope that jagex can find a way to stop this lag, but not at the cost of something bigger. Until then, may you not end up in lumbrige. |
