Wandering Adventurer II

Walking through the countryside, I realized how much I missed journeying throughout this world. The old features of wisdom embedded in the trees, along with the songs of the birds telling of stories long past. Listening to the sounds of nature sets my heart at ease as I take in the knowledge and splendor of the features around me. This is the only place I can actually be myself to the world around me. It reminds me of my travels with a woman about as old as myself.

She was fair with brown hair dropping just below her shoulders, it was curly in a natural sense, she wore mostly basic leather tunics and skirts when she traveled, unless there was a quest to be done. She would have her Runite Mail donned, an armor suited for royalty. This armor not only very durable but it would also enhance her features and eyes. We used to travel to all ends of the world. She was a great companion indeed; I wish she could still voyage along side me, unfortunately she found a life-partner, though he mistreats her and abuses his privileges of morals in a relationship, she continues to stay by his side.

Women are truly strong indeed, something such as that I will never understand in this life or the next. Perhaps I will see her again one-day. Not only to take her away from that mistreatment, but to enjoy her company once again. She and I would carry on our journeys together and converse about the old times along with adventures we have had. That desire being by her side will always stay tucked away in my heart. Nonetheless, this quest I have undertaken will have to come first.

I can see the walls of Ardougne now as I pass through the outskirts of the woods behind me. The clamor of the people there has not changed since the last time I have ventured here so many years ago. In addition to the market shopkeepers, the overall theme of this town is still just as energetic as ever. Before I try to make any form of earnings from the certificates that I have obtained while fishing in the guild, the Ardougne Inn welcomes my exhausting journey.

I’m sure I still have a few coins left in my bank account to pay for room and board during my sojourn here. As I walked into the crowded bank in the southern part of this remarkable town, I was reminded of the ill-mannered people who settled in this place.

There were five people; one of the five was a young lady standing in the middle of the four men. The men were dressed in similar attire with their tanned leather shirts with cufflinks at their wrists; the leather came to their waist. Their leggings were that of bronze with their steel swords attached at the waist. The hilt of the sword had an embedded ruby in the middle, and the handle had been decorated with a type of serpent wrapped around it.

These were no ordinary men, though the armor they have wielded is crude and simple, the men had the eyes of experienced warriors. The men were harassing the young lady, trying to coarse her to join their little group. My intentions were to do this quest myself, but I cannot disregard the help of a lady in need. I walked over towards the men and looked at the young lady, she had long brown hair that dropped below her back. Her eyes reflected the bluest oceans I have ever seen. Her skin seemed as soft as silk, a dark tan covered throughout her entire body. Her attire seemed to be a black tunic made to fit the curves of a female and an improvised black skirt. The side of her skirt dropped below her knees but it seemed to split up to her thighs, the split was laced in tanned leather strings. She also had a black cloak, which dropped to the same place the skirt dropped.

The ends of the sides were of a triangle pattern, composed of green with gold laces decorated around the cloak. The designs went all the way to her hood. As well as the magical staff this woman carried, this magnificent staff had decorations of emeralds and rubies throughout the top of the staff with an air obelisk at the top, the obelisk was embedded in the staff in a fashion that the staff was growing around the obelisk. This young lady was extraordinarily attractive; I can see why the men had taken a liking to her, but nonetheless their approach is offensive and I will help this young lady.
